Thomas Walker Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Allen Walker, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather, and friend, who left this world on September 26, 2025.

Thomas was born on September 11, 1939, in Cleveland, Ohio, the cherished son of the late Alma Trice, and lovingly raised by his grandmother, Theresa Sullivan. He was also blessed to be informally adopted as a son by the late Roslyn and Fred Razor, who played a significant role in shaping the man he became.

Thomas was united in holy matrimony to his devoted wife, Carmen Walker, and together they built a strong, loving family. He is survived by his children: Allen Walker, Teresa Walker, Karen Trammell, and Quincy (Linda) Walker--- each carrying forward his legacy of love, strength, and resilience. Thomas was also a proud grandfather and great- grandfather, whose wisdom, humor, and warmth will be deeply missed.

He leaves to cherish his memory:- His loving wife Carmen Walker - Children: Allen Walker, Teresa Walker, Karen Trammell, and Quincy (Linda) Walker - Brothers: Frederick Razor Jr. and Harold Razor - Sisters: Vivian Phillips and Jeanine Nowden _ Brothers-in-law: John (Wilma) Dale and Bert Clements _ Along with a host of uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, great-- grandchildren, and friends.

A dedicated serviceman, Thomas proudly enlisted in both the National Guard and the U.S. Army, demonstrating his lifelong commitment to his country and community. His professional career included impactful roles with Prudential Insurance, The V.A Hospital, and the Ohio Public Interest Campaign, where he touched many lives with his dedication and integrity.

Thomas had a profound love for children, evident in his work with the Cleveland Farming Program, where he inspired young people to value nature and the rewards of hard work. his compassionate spirit also shone through in his volunteer service as a Myo therapist at Western Reserve Hospice, where he provided comfort and care to those in need.

In his leisure, Thomas found joy in boxing, a sport he admired for its discipline and tenacity. He loved gardening, cultivating both plants and peace of mind, and expressed his creativity through drawing, capturing the world with imagination and artistry.

Thomas Allen Walker will always be remembered for his unwavering love of family, his heart for service, and his generous spirit. His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched, and in the memories that will be cherished forever. 

A memorial service will be held on October 11, 2025, at Jackie's Party Center, 1994 Noble Rd. East Cleveland, Ohio 44112, where family and friends are invited to celebrate and honor Thomas's remarkable life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to City Mission, reflecting Thomas's lifelong commitment to helping others.

Rest in peace, dear Thomas. You will be forever missed and always remembered.
